I was really craving for a red velvet cake, when a friend told me that I could find it at Marmalade Pantry though she already tried it personally and said it was barely average, well I went for it anyway.The red velvet cupcakes at Marmalade Pantry are different from the typical ones. Theirs have coconut shavings on top. The cupcake was moist and fresh, but there was just something missing, like a lack of flavor. The cupcake tasted like plain ordinary vanilla cupcake except being red in color visually. The cream cheese frosting was more like vanilla frosting and the layer of frosting was really thin. I'd simply say the coconut shavings wouldn't be an ideal new creation to add on.
Maybe. You might want to try their other cupcakes instead, like the Nutella one.
