Marukin Ramen differentiates itself from other ramen joints by serving chicken broth with their ramen instead of the usual pork broth you will find elsewhere. I decided to order their Marukin Miso ramen together with an additional order of egg. The eggs were perfect- firm, cooked egg whites conceal the nice runny yellow egg yolks within. The miso ramen soup was also not too bad- the miso paste was not too overwhelming and as a result the broth was not overly salty. However, there seems to be something lacking in the chicken broth, it seems to lack the additional oomph, rich, milkiness from the usual pork broth. Personally, I would prefer the pork broth. The noodles were however, really good. It was sufficiently chewy and springy, which was a joy to eat with soup!!
