If you're feeling peckish in town and craving for some good ol' fast food, I will definitely have to recommend Carl's Junior as my favourite fast food joint (since In-N-Out hasn't arrived on our shores yet...). Chicken ranch burger! While the fried chicken is not on par with the famous star cheese burger, I definitely recommend it to chicken lovers who can't take spicy food such as the popular McSpicy burger from Mcdonalds or Zinger burger from KFC. The chicken was a tad bit dry but the ranch dressing was a delicious accompaniment to the meat. The best part of the meal?

Carl's Junior fries. I definitely prefer this over Mcdonalds fries. Not only are they thicker, they also seem to be much more flavourful than those from McDs. Quick tip: Request for no salt fries and you can be sure to get a fresh crispy batch of them fried specially for you! Crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, best fries in Singapore!

While their prices are on the higher side for fast food meals, their portions are usually big enough to share and I usually get one set and "go large" (up-size) to share with a pal! This meal came up to $9.90.

Their salsa bar is also a huge plus for me and I usually go with the normal salsa which gives a refreshing taste to otherwise heaty food. Don't forget to opt for their homemade ice tea instead of the usual sugary soft drinks offered in fast food joints, it's not only healthier but much more delicious as you can control how much sugar you want to add in it.

As you can probably tell, Carl's Junior has maintained its position as my favourite fast food chain in Singapore!
