Thanks to the social media, nowadays it's so easy to get updated infomation on where to go for makan. And Koh Grill & Sushi Bar is a popular one! Since i always loved Japanese food, i decided to come here to try out the food. Since i always loved Japanese food, i decided to come here to try out the food. Since i was alone, i don't want to be too adventurous so i stick to 2 items - Shiok Maki (the very popular item ) and the Century Egg Tofu. I paid around $20 for the bill which i thought was quite reasonable cause for Shiok Maki alone, it was loaded with a generous amount of ingredients.
I would strongly recommend Shiok Maki if it's your first visit. There was a second generation of shiok maki so i decide to try it. Instead of unagi for the original, this one was replaced with tempura prawn! I love it =)
The whole combination of the tempura prawn, wakame, salmon on top of it, drenched with the most amazing cheesy sauce and completed with a generous topping of tobiko. It's a very blissful feeling when i put the first piece in my mouth! I like this so much till i'm planning a second visit to try the original one.
Century egg tofu was very well done too. With fresh ingredients (very important), it can't go too wrong! Yummy!
