Quite shock to have found a peranakan cafe outlet here when i was heading home.

Since it has been weeks since i last tried Singapore food, buying a piece of kueh to eat seem very ideal.
And here you see below is the kueh lapis. A type of traditional kueh which i have been eating since young.

Dont belittle this kueh, behind it - the making process was a tough one, as it required lots of time and effort to make the thousand layers. Yum yum..... I would always eat it by section just like how i eat a ‘九层糕 (Jiu Cheng Gao)’

I bought this kueh lapis at the cost of $1.90 not cheap i would say. But the food did match the value as it is not too oily and as i seperated the layers it was a smooth tear
.

Would like to try it again but not frequently.
