My colleague and I decided to dine in at Bangkok Jam as we saw quite a lot of customers and thought that the food should be pretty alright to attract so many customers. My colleague and I decided to dine in at Bangkok Jam as we saw quite a lot of customers and thought that the food should be pretty alright to attract so many customers. We are able to get seats quite easily since there is only two of us. We made our order for a Clear Seafood tom yum soup $7.90, Thai olive fried rice $11 and Seafood Phad Thai $11.90. The tom yum soup was the first to arrive and we are quite disappointed to note that the ingredients are measly with only two small prawns, two small pieces of sotong and minimal vegetables (mushroom, tomato). I think it is far too stingy and also, the soup is not fantastic. It is not spicy at all. Luckily, my phad thai was alright. It is quite moist and it is very easy to slurp it down. The noodles also have a good bite in them. The ingredients that are included in the phad thai are prawns which are quite fresh and bouncy. However like the tom yum soup, I felt that the portion was very little. I was only around 60% full after eating my phad thai. I would probably not come again because it is not worth the price.
