Polar Puffs and Cakes started from one café way back in 1926. Definitely has come a long way. This home grown brand has more than thirty outlets throughout the island. The Special Pie has now risen to S$3.30 per piece.
Instead of the normal chicken pie currently on promotion, I opted for the Special Pie having the thought that these pies will have more tasty filings.
To my disappointment, when I sliced the big pie into halves, I noticed the filling covered only a fraction of the pie. Ingredients found in the pie are diced carrots, sliced onions, minimal small pieces of chicken meat and green peas.These ingredients are too mushy just like baby food puree.
Maybe it would be a better deal if I chose the normal chicken pie.Post
