I went to Tan Tock Seng food court for my lunch. It has been some time since I had chicken rice, hence I decided to order from the chicken rice stall. I ordered the fried chicken rice. The chicken rice comes with a bowl of soup as well which is quite standard. The chicken rice is quite oily and it is leaning more towards the salty side. I felt that the flavour of the rice isn't that authentic as it seems like it is not flavoured using real chicken stock, but using more of msg instead. The chicke

I felt that the flavour of the rice isn't that authentic as it seems like it is not flavoured using real chicken stock, but using more of msg instead. The chicken are not as crispy as imagined, probably because it had been fried for quite some time. It is hence a little disappointing, even though the chicken meat is rather tender and flavourful. Overall, I will probably give this stall a miss next time and try other stalls in the food court.
