It is my first visit to The Connoisseur Concerto (TCC) and frankly speaking, I was quite shocked at the prices they are charging since it appeared that they are more like a casual café. Anyway, since me and my friend are already there, we decide to just try it out since we are both first timers to tcc. I was browsing through the menu and immediately, the Seafood Aglio Olio got my eye. The description states that it is subtly flavoured with chilli and garlic, with scallops and prawns. The dish took around 10 minutes to come and the presentation of the dish is really good. There are a total of 3 prawns and 3 scallops which is really expensive as the dish costs $21++. While the prawns are crunchy and well flavoured, I felt the scallops are quite a disappointment as it isn’t as nice… I felt that there is a slight fishy taste which is a pity. The aglio olio while being tasty with the garlic oil, is not very spicy as well, and it could definitely be spicier. Overall, I think I probably will not return as the prices are on the high side and the dish did not really justify the high prices.
