To catch a cheap and quick lunch, my colleague recommended taking our meal here. Conveniently located at Chinatown Complex market, the stall was obviously to be seen and found. Occupied a small space, the stall was mainly selling pork-related cuisines. There was no queue and very prompt service, boss was friendly talkactive. Juicy tender meat which was ideally placed in big bowl, texture of the ribs was consistently set by the marinating phase. And since it was a quick fry, the sauce retains their bright and attractive colour. Simple and great taste, the dish was the most traditional without overly seasoning. Generous gravy was given, one of the savoury signature creations at the stall. Ratio of fatness was just nice, pork belly was delicious and easily melted in my mouth. Portion of pearl rice was sufficient, served along with a decent soup. The set was rated at $5.00, additional $0.50 for rice. Reasonable price and tasted not bad, the place was worth a trip down definitely.
