We were going around Central, when suddenly we spotted Watami, a restaurant with quite long queue. Ishiyaki Beef Pepper Rice - $9.80This dish is similar to Pepper Lunch's Beef Pepper Rice. It seemed like they put more beef slices as compared to Pepper Rice (hence the higher price). The stone pot was super hot that it caused the rice to be charred easily when I stopped stirring.
Watami Tonkotsu Ramen - $14.80ramen in special pork bone soup with pork slices
The pork bone soup was so delicate. The onsen tamago still had a bit of runny texture, I prefer this version to Ajisen Ramen's solid one. The chashu could have been bigger though hehe.
Salmon & Avocado Roll Sushi - $13.80I never am a fan of raw salmon. This was my friend's order. I only tried one piece and didn't want anymore. Raw salmon is just bleurgh... For me it tastes like papaya in a much worse way.
Maccha Ice Cream - $3.60Not really a fan of Watami's maccha ice cream coz it had a rather icy texture (not soft).
Overall, it was a good dinner. Service was quite slow and it's hard to grab the staffs' attention. Oh ya, it has a wonderful night view facing the river, if you're lucky enough to get a seat next to the glass window.
