My sister came home with a slice of the mini eggless Emicake. I suppose the unique feature of this cake is that it's 'EGGLESS' as printed in caps on the plastic cover itself and stated that it's a healthier choice.I'm not sure how they actually bake it without any egg because does that mean that more shortening is used? I'm not sure how they actually bake it without any egg because does that mean that more shortening is used? If so, how could it be a healthier choice? Nevertheless, I tucked in. It was a coffee flavored cake, pretty alright I'd say. The coffee aroma wasn't strong though and the cake didn't have a soft/moist texture, in fact it tasted like it was a day or two old.
