Injected with life especially when night falls, Changi Village is one of my favourite food hub and night spot in Singapore. While exploring my options outside of the Changi Hawker Centre, I spotted Pranakorn, a Thai eatery located next to the Zebra Crossing along the main streets of Changi Village Road. They adopted the vintage Bangkok street concept which aims to give customers the feeling of eating in Bangkok city.
One of the specialties is the Moo Daeng ($5.80) - fried minced pork ball yet with tenderness like fish balls.
Stir fried Thai Style Kang Kong ($5.80). A little wok hei flavour and hint of spiciness for some kick.
Crispy Pork Cutlet ($5.80) were tender, just like those battered cuttlefish cakes. However, the thickness was unacceptable!
These were our mains which were available in set meals. Sticky noodle with minced pork in Tom Yum ($8.90) and Stir Fried Spicy Basil Minced pork with Egg ($8.90). Both came with a choice of beverage and a standard bowl of dessert which was iced grass jelly sprinkled with brown cane sugar.
Pranakorn serves a different style from the likes of Nakhon Kitchen, Joe's Kitchen and A-roy Thai where flavours are heavier and richer, probably to suit Singaporeans' palate. So if you are searching for authentic Thai Street delicacies, Pranakorn is probably the closest you can get.

Pranakorn is the new kid on the block at Changi Village.  Not many people notice them yet, but I did and went in for a try.  A look at their menu.  Their prices are extraordinary reasonable.  They have value set meal for less than $10 and I get to enjoy a Tom Yum noodle or Basil Minced Meat with Rice/Egg and a drink (Ice Lemon Tea) and a dessert (Grass Jelly).  This value set meal only cost me $8.90 only!  It is very value for money!A taste of the thai food.  Yes!  It taste homely and authentic.

A taste of the thai food.  Yes!  It taste homely and authentic.  The food is great and plus point to their cosy Bangkok style interiors.  I went ahead to try their side dishes and was amazed by their Spicy & Sour Fried Pork Balls.  Yums!  I will certainly come back for a second time for more!
Other Info. : Authentic Thai Value set meal for just $8.90 only!
