A great place for supper and people watching with the nightlife "activities"... This place sells my number one ranked beef horfun in the whole of Singapore. I wish they will always operate and maintain consistency of standards. The beef is too tender to describe in a mouthful. The sauce is just amazing and flavourful and the horfun is very very satisfying.

This area might be a little "sleazy", yet it's best visited at night because everyone seems to illegal park here (within vision). Too many good food and great for people watching too.

I like to order my beef kway teow dry as I think gravy is more flavourful and tastier than soup version. The gravy was really thick and flavourful and in such generous amount which covered over all the other ingredients, thus able to taste the sauce in every bite. The kway teow was cooked just nice and springy. Although I prefer the beef to be in cube forms, but the beef slices in this plate of beef hor fun is just as satisfying enough, soft and tender and quite a lot of slices given.

Heard about Geylang area got many nice food, so decide to go there and do some research to see whether really is that good. There is a big board wrote 牛河大王, which is King of beef kway teow. Wonder is that really so good and so called themselves King. The beef is really really tender but the kway teow so so only. Beside this, there are many food also, will try to go next time.

I have heard of their big name but have never get to try it so far. I came for an early dinner at about 5.30 pm. I was the only customer there at that time. I ordered the smallest serving for $7. The portion was quite small for that price but it came with a lot of sliced beef so i think it kind of made it worth the value. The sliced beef tasted tender and soft. The kway teow has got very distinctive wok hei. It was nice to eat together with green cut chillies.

I had the beef kway teow the last time. This time, i decided to try it with crispy noodle. It did not fared very good as compared to the one with kway teow. The crispy noodle did not have the distinctive wok taste as compared to the kway teow. The price is the same. Both are at $6 for a small plate. Those slices of beef were tender and fresh tasting in savory sauce. I would stick to their kway teow next time.

I tried this for the first time. A small plate of beef hor fun is at $6. This is definitely more expensive. The amount of hor fun was quite little. The hor fun consists of many pieces of sliced beef. The hor fun has an appealing wok taste. They cooked this dish quite well but i was told their standard has dropped a bit as compared to before. The sauce has got a strong fermented bean taste which i did not quite like it.

Beef meat in this sinful dish is definitely the main reason why so many people have been visiting this store so regularly. The meat is really tender and juicy, which is really easy to chew and simply so tasty. The hor fun, which is also known as the flat rice noodles are very smooth and easy to swallow. Not only the beef, I believe most of us will be like me love to eat their dark thick fragrant gravy as well. It goes well with the noodles and the beef which is a delicious dish to be enjoyed

This hor fun is so fantastic that I finished the whole plate before I knew it and still longed for more. So to all beef lovers out there, don't miss THE BEST BEEF HOR FUN IN SINGAPORE if you haven't tried this. Come down to Geylang Lorong 9 Beef Kway Teow today.

This stall is pretty famous for its beef horfun. I came here on the recommendation of my daughter who came here with her friends before. I ordered a plate of it when I went there last week. Some other places add some flour to the beef which makes it chewy but definitely not this place. I wouldn’t mind joining the queue for a horfun of such a good standard.

Although the standard of the beef hor fun seems to have dropped, somehow we will still come to Lorong 9 for Beef Hor Fun whenever we are at Geylang.

The Beef Hor Fun is still quite nice - beef slices are tender and the black bean gravy is flavourful. However, the wok-hei seems to lack much compared to previously and the hor fun is not as smooth.

But overall its still a very nice plate of Beef Hor Fun.

Since the beef horfun is so good, I decided to bring my friend here for lunch as we are in the area. Since I have already reviewed the beef horfun in my last review, I decided to just zoom in on the extra plate of plate of dou miao which we ordered. As simple as this dish is, it is hard to execute it well and I must say it does it very well. The chef was able to cook the dish such that each dou miao retains its crunch and it is not lumpy or soggy. It is really one of the best dou miao that I had

The beef horfun here is really top notch in my opinion. The stall owner dishes a very generous serving of beef slices in every plate of horfun. This is the larger portion since there is two of us sharing it. The beef is fresh and the slices are not too thick nor thin, keeping its texture while ensuring it stays tender when cooked. The horfun very well flavoured and cooked with some wok hei. It is very smooth as well and it is not clumpy. This is definitely one of the top beef horfun in Singapor

Waiting time is can be up to 20minutes if you come at the peak dinner time, so I try to go earlier to avoid the crowd.

i accompanied my hubby to geylang to eat his favourite beef kway teow. i am not really a fan of beef kway teow as it find it a little oily. so i shared a couple of mouth with him. i ordered a fried kang kong side dish for myself. being a vegetable person, i love kang kong the mouth. the soft leaves and the crunchy stem. the way they fry it is unlike the normal sambal kang kong way. this one did not add any chilli so it is not too spicy. i like it this way, not so heaty. i recommend this dish whe
