There's a few F&B choices at East Coast Park and they are just side by side each other. You won't miss Babalicious with the nice set-up and the spot-on restaurant name obviously means Nonya food. The food is tasty however not up to Nonya or Peranakan standards. Nonya food is known for its richness, the fragrance, aromatic cuisine with coconut milk and also flavorful sambal chilli. The food is tasty however not up to Nonya or Peranakan standards. Nonya food is known for its richness, the fragrance, aromatic cuisine with coconut milk and also flavorful sambal chilli. Unfortunately the food we had was just below average. The sambal promfet was a total failure with the over fried fish and sambal chilli without nonya spicy sweetness. Ayam Buah Keluak cooked well but missing the richness. Nonya Chap Chye was nice but the sauce was just too light. However you would still enjoy the food as it's pretty tasty. But Nonya lovers maybe a little disappointed thou....
I would sum it up as a tasty home-cooked style restaurant instead.
