Tom Yam is not as spicy as thought. Possibly my last try for such fish head in Tom Yam. Satay is good with gravy and well decorated too. Avg per person about $15-20. Will come back to other stuff but surely not fish head.

Hot and sour omelette curry with prawns ($10.9)
Have you ever had a food that looked so different yet tasted so familiar? It took me a while to realise that this curry tasted like my favorite penang laksa. An interesting twist on this dish was the omelette, it was stuffed with acacia pennata. I think this was the only dish I like at the table.

BBQ stingray with Thai sambal ($14)
The stingray didn't taste fresh, and the meat was kind of tough and chewy, as some would say 'logo'. We were expecting those BBQ stingray in Chinese Tze Char style but this was nothing like it. The sambal tasted just like plain chilli, we couldn't taste any belacan, shallot or other ingredients that usually attributed to a BBQ style sambal. Another round of shaking heads again.

was craving for thai food at lot1 and I decided to give siam kitchen a try. it was my first time there so i am not too sure what is nice and therefore i went for the safe choice -phad thai. indeed the food didnt disappoint me. the rice noodle was soft and sweet, blends when together with the seafood, peanut and chilli flakes. however, the portion is quite small for the price (sgd $10.90++).overall, i will be back in future to try out other ale carte dishes from this place.

Thai Herb Chicken ($14.90++)
This was simply awesome! The chicken was grilled to perfection with the fragrance of the herbs and spices fully infused into it. Coupled with their special Thai chili sauce, this was one divine Chicken you'll have to savour! The meat was tender and succulent and left a mild sweet aftertaste.

Beef Noodles ($11.90++)
Full-bodied, rich and wholesome – these were the words that came to mind when we tucked into the bowl of hot piping Beef Noodles. The soup broth was flavourful yet not overpowering. Topped with generous portions of tender chewy beef slices, this was the perfect main course on a cold wet evening.

Tom Yam Soup ($7.90++)
Unfortunately, the Tom Yam Soup was a far-cry from the two other dishes we ordered. As a staple order whenever we patronise any Thai restaurant, we were disappointed by the lack-luster flavouring and authenticity of their Tom Yam Soup. What made matters worse was the quality of ingredients used. Both the seafood and fish slices were not exactly fresh, resulting in a fishy taste that compromised the overall quality of the soup broth.

The spiciness of the Kang Kong was bearable and it's not exceedingly spicy. However if you have a friend that can only eat minimal spicy stuff, I suggest that you ask the staff for less chilli. The less chilli version might taste better as it won't burn your tongue and make the rest of the night unbearable!

This honey marinated chicken was quite alright, I like the sauce more than the chicken itself! HAHA! I think the Thais always come up with the best sauce. Hence they can always get just one dish and eat with Jasmine rice and not get bored of their food!

Ingenious!
As always, I will definitely come back to Siam Kitchen from my daily fix of Thai food!

The curry was HEAVENLY!!!! I was in cloud nine as I slurped down the curry bit by bit, savoring the taste in my mouth. It has all the flavors: sweet, sour, spicy and salty bursting with each bite. The beef was extremely soft and I swear that even people with no teeth will be able to eat it (I kid!) as it melts in your mouth. There were also carrots and potatoes in it which doesn't make it to overwhelming after awhile. I also like that they were very generous in the serving of the curry as you can see that it's more or less filled to the brim!
After eating this meal, I did a quick research on how to prepare it and the procedure looks really tedious and requires many many kinds of ingredients. Kudos to the chef who was able to make this dish hit all the tastebuds perfectly!

As with all the delicious thai food I've eaten, I'll always seek to be back for them to tantalize my tastebuds

This is the Phad Thai Glass Noodle Chicken ($9.90). The flavours burst in your mouth with a mix of sweet sauce and spiciness. Chicken slices were rather generous and the glass noodles were springy. Although I find that the dish was spicy enough on its own, chilli lovers can ask for more chili flakes to add to the glass noodles.

It is important to have a balanced diet so we had vegetables. This is the Crispy Tofu with Mixed Vegetables (carrots, celery, kailan and mushroom for $8.90). Although this dish is called crispy tofu, I find that the tofu was more like the kind of tofu that you get on a hotplate dish. The skin was simply not crispy. The prawns were a nice surprise as we did not expect seafood in this vegetable dish.

Lastly, we ordered the BBQ Stingray with Grilled Squid ($17.90). Squid was ok and stingray was soft. The chili that was covering the stingray really had lots of kick! It was a delectable addition to the seafood. I would recommend eating this with lots of cucumbers as cucumbers help to get rid of the burning sensation on your tongue

I would definitely visit Siam Kitchen again for a fuss-free, no frills dining experience. The 2 managers on duty that day were cheerful and always ready to make your visit as comfortable as they can. Thumbs up!

When comes to tom yum soup, Siam kitchen certainly has one of the best among most of the thai restaurant. The different types of spices used in it are very fragrant and the soup taste quite spicy as well. The seafoods used in it such as the prawns are crunchy and the squids used in it are also very chewy and fresh too. Great to have it with a plate of their fragrant plain rice.

Beef meat with rice! Not only that there's onion to enhance the taste with the meaty, nuts topped on top for crunchy taste, cucumbers by the side to refresh overall food! And not forgetting the yummy sauce they provide by the plate together with a piece of small lime! (:It is reasonably affordable for a restaurant eatery with good looking appearance plus yummy food!

Phai Thai Noodles is one of my favourite because it is tasty and nice. The phai thai noodles is fried to perfection with the springy prawns and chicken meat. A squeeze of the lime juice gives the noodles a tangy flavour that whet your appetite. Their specially made chili is also a good condiment for the spicy-lovers as the springy phai thai noodles is best accompanied by a dash of chili.
