This was recommdned to my party of 3. The lamb was deliciously juicy and the cheese was addictive. The pide itself was crispy like a thin crust pizza with a slight crunch on the ends.

2. Lunch set soup

The soup was flavourful but not too salty. Definitely not from a can. The soup had a subtle fragrance of a vegetable soup.

Turkish coffee is literally the strongest coffee I know of. There's so much coffee with so little water and served with baklava which is a very very sweet turkish dessert. Bitter plus overly sweet dessert equals a great end to any meal.

Their humus was smooth and delightful. I really liked it and reminded me of my time in Israel. Just wished felt that it was abit overpriced for such a small serving.

The cheese here is so addictively good. I've had this twice over a period of 3 months. The top of the cheese is cooked and burnt to perfection and has a nice crisp to it.

The insides of the cheese layer is smooth and gooey just the way I like it. There's tons of minced meat and vegetables underneath the layers of cheese.

The rice is extremely fragrant and flavourful. Do choose the rice as you have an option between rice and bread for this moussaka.

Overall: a great dining experience with a quiet and comfortable air conditioned environment, tucked away in a corner of one-north.

This place was a gem – expert, wholesome cooking coming out of a tiny kitchen. reasonable prices and decent portions too.

We started off with warm fluffy pide and hummus; the bread was crusty and delicious, the hummus decent.

I had a grilled chicken breast: moist and tender – at a standard I would expect from a restaurant. my friends had the adana kebab (a lamb-beef mix) and the baked rice – both of which went down easily enough.

We finished with baklava – and while it wasn’t the best I’ve had, it’s more than I expected. The pastry was sweet though not tooth-achingly so, and moistened just enough for the filo layers to still be discernible. I remember a slight floury after-texture, but nothing off-putting.

A tiny, unpretentious, but immensely likable café – and gratifyingly close to the gastronomic wasteland of my workplace. I see repeat visits in my gastronomic crystal ball.
