The serving of the noodle is quite generous for my order. The noodle is springy, very qq. Wanton is crispy and the char siew is pretty tender. Although I ask for my noodle without chilli, they forgot about it. At the end, I scrape most of it off; those that remain gave a good heat to the noodle.

For the soup base, it is very robust from the long boiling process. However, the star attraction of this place is the braised chicken feet. It is flavourful, tasty and absorb the braising liquid and mushrooms flavour nicely. The skin has the right texture, not soggy. Al dente will be the right terms. The mushrooms are quite huge in size. YumYum!

Service is minimum, but the auntie that delivers my food is very friendly. She did give me a curious look when I took out my camera in the first place. Overall, it is a good place for wanton mee. My suggestion is that you order a wanton mee and a serving of chicken feet on the side. When crowded, expect to wait between 20 to 30 minutes. Ciao!

One of my favourite Singaporean hawker food is Wanton Mee! There are countless of wanton noodle food stalls in Singapore and one of the more popular ones is Da Jie Famous Wanton Noodle. The soup was also robust with flavour! This stall certainly deserves to have the 'Famous' word in their shop name! ;)

This stall is not only famous for its wanton mee but also the braised chicken feet with mushroom. I took away a $5 portion to have it at home. The chicken feets were nicely braised in good quality dark soya sauce to give it the right texture and flavor. The braised mushrooms have got the equally good taste and texture. This dish is ideal to have it with rice or noodle or just have it as snack. Recommended.

I ordered a $3 plate of wanton mee which comes with special egg noodle that is topped with fresh char siew and crispy fried wanton and a bowl of dumpling soup. I guess I did not do justice to the dumpling soup which I left out of the picture. But on that day, the soup was served later and I was too hungry to wait. So I just took a picture of the noodles and started eating. Nevertheless I savoured the soup and the tasty dumplings at the end.Unlike Sin Hoe Hin, Da Jie Famous Wanton Noodle is more

Unlike Sin Hoe Hin, Da Jie Famous Wanton Noodle is more of the traditional Cantonese style than KL dark sauce wanton mee. Don't miss this wanton mee that is delicious and value-for-money.

The wanton mee at this stall is really good, my girlfriend and I would specially drive here just to eat their wanton mee. Starting with the noodles, it is very springy, you can hear the crunch when you bite into it. They were very generous with the portion of char siew for the price I paid. The char siew was really good, very tender, little fats and had my favourite charred bits. Since I ordered dry, they had this black sauce gravy, the gravy was really tasty, it was not too salty as well. the w

This is another highly recommended stall for wanton noodle and braised chicken feets with mushroom in town.We were there at about 2 pm. The stall was about to close then. We were there at about 2 pm. The stall was about to close then. We ordered a portion of $5.00 braised chicken feets with mushroom to be taken away for my dearest Grandpa and that is his favourite. We ordered a $3.00 portion of wanton noodle to be eaten there.

The wanton noodle and the braised chicken feets with mushroom were served to my table by that friendly Auntie.

I was delighted with my first mouthful. I enjoyed the springiness of the noodle, the tenderness of the char siew with a slightly charred taste and not forgetting those 5 pieces of tasty wantons floating in a bowl of flavourful soup.

This is certainly amongst the better wanton noodles found in this little red dot. Highly recommended.

If you cannot do without a chicken feet when you eat wanton noodles, this you cannot miss. Just take a look at that claw, the chicken feet is succulent and soft, the juice and sauce on the feet tastes good even by itself. The mushrooms were quite big but lacked flavour, but still juicy.

Wa seh, one of the best wanton noodles ever! The sauce mixed with chilli is heavenly and their soup is so sweet but yet spicy because of the pepper. The noodles are al-dente styled, very springy and well timely cooked. The fried wanton is small with hardly any meat but it is sufficiently crispy. The char siew is a little chunky but yet tender. With everything close to perfection; no sogginess for anything, not even their green chilli. I can't find fault with this place. Tops!Bring a wet tissue an

Bring a wet tissue and prepare to sweat it out because the place is quite stuffy. Still worth the sweat!

Take a look at their Wanton Noodle, it’s not your “normal” Wanton Noodle. This wonderful dish comprises of Chicken Feet, Char Siew, Mushrooms and Fried Wanton ! What a great combination ! Their Wanton Noodle tastes delicious and their skill is superb with the noodles cooked really very yummy and just nice perfectly !!

Well, that’s not all, when you are there trying out the Wanton Noodle, you must eat more Chicken Feet with mushrooms covered with thick gravy, deep fragrance and wonderful taste, well cooked and simply delicious !! That’s not all, the Wanton soup, it’s a Must Try !! Wantons taste superb and the soup base is really well cooked, sweet and filled with stock fragrance …. What’s the fragrance, I leave it for you to go there and try it out !
