Another stall in Pek Kio checked! It's quite easy to spot the popular stalls just by one look at the persistent long queues lined up in front of the stall.Ordered the Mee Kia Dry version with ketchup. Ordered the Mee Kia Dry version with ketchup. I admit that the bowl of noodles was not too impressive but it carries a special and down to earth taste of how a simple bowl of Minced Pork Noodle should taste like. With a few pieces of braised mushrooms, slices of fishcakes, lean meats, minced pork as well as fresh bouncy fishballs, that make up a good bowl of noodle served in ketchup, garnished with coriander.

The bowl of soup has a significance difference from those normal minced pork noodle soup which i had tried before and I'm kind of hooked to it. In the end, I had finished the entire bowl of soup.

Though i have tried some of those famous Bak Cho Mee out there but none has come as close as my favourite Bak Chor Mee that closed down a couple of months ago. So, the persistent long queue of this stall definitely caught my attention. I joined in the queue and waited for 10 minutes to order. Though extra chilli was added but it still did not taste spicy enough to my liking. It has got quite a distinctive taste of vinegar. I am not a fan of vinegar so the taste was a bit overwhelmed. If you do not like it too then you might want to request to omit it or to request for lesser amount to be added. The soup that served along with the Mee Kia tasted rather plain with just a slight peppery taste.
