The pancake is soft, not overly starchy and has a light sweetness which makes it very tasty. Further, the edges are also crispy which makes it a joy to eat. The red bean filling is thick and the sweetness is just right. The red bean paste is evenly spread across the pancake and you could taste some red bean grains too. This is a good snack to go with coffee or soya milk.

Granny's pancakes are suitable for vegetarians, since they do not use egg in their batter.With 3 different types of fillings (Red Bean, Peanuts and Coconut) to choose from, I deliberated a while before deciding on the peanut filling. I love how the auntie will scoop up additional peanuts and place it over my pancake. Sorry for the smaller sized pancake, it is actually a bit larger since the peanuts is so aromatic, I took a bite before taking a picture. The pancake, having been freshly made, is still very soft. The best thing is it is only 70cents and 3 pieces go for $2.
