Apart from the gourmet breakfast where the sandwiches are filled with either ham or bacon, and omelet, you can also opt for a much simpler breakfast at Cedele. I like to order the toast set. The set consists of a big cup of coffee or tea, and slices of multi-grain bread, which has been toasted nicely, crispy and served with butter and strawberry jam. Not a big fan of eating out because Raffles Place's lunch crowd can be really horrendous. However, my colleague decided that we should try out Cedele coz the environment was ok and not too crowded.I ordered the Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato sandwich. The bacon is super crispy and not too hard. You know how some bacon can be so hard that it start to taste like chewing gum? This one was good. Fragrance and easy to bite. The vegetables and tomato slices that they add to the sandwich was really fresh too.The soup taste good and I cleaned up the entire bowl! Would definitely go back again!

It was my first visit to Cedele. Met up with an ex-colleague and we decided to go Cedele. We didn't know what to order and took some time to think but the sales assistant was quite patient with us. I almost wanted to order the ham and cheese but I thought it's too common and I decided to try something new.So, I ordered the mushroom omelette sandwich (Ciabatta bread) and she ordered the rosemary chicken. Though the portion looked small, it was quite filling. I only wished that my sandwich was warm. Other than that, it's alright.We shared a bowl of clam chowder soup. When the soup was brought to us, we didn't know that it's our order. It's very yellowish and we thought that was pumpkin soup. They are rather generous with the clams. It's rich and tasty (not too salty).

Heard from a friend that the best carrot cake in SG was from Cedele. Having heard many people recommending places to be best in SG and found out to be just ok, still wanted to give this carrot cake a try. Want to have something sweet for tea time, so went to try out the carrot cake. Have to agree that it is very delicious~~~ The cake was creamy and the walnut tastes good. Being cautious about getting fat, I removed the layer of cream on the top but ate the ones in the middle. Satisfied my crave for the day!
