I went with about 6 to 8 colleagues and had bought a deal coupon with us. If my colleagues does not drive, i would not have gone there. Love the rustic feel of the place. We had to have our dinner indoors as we need a big round table for the dishes. The food is good. Nothing fantastic but certainly worth coming at least once for the nice eminence?? and affordable seafood. continue reading

A Laid back place with nice ambience if you were to sit outside; service was all right depending on whose attention you managed to catch; food was ordinary and forgettableBetween the two of us, we had:1. Battered oysters ($18) - saving dish of the day, heat while cooking was well managed with juices retained, oysters were small2. Salted egg crab ($43/800g) - the salted egg could be tasted, but saltiness diluted by the white. Flesh sticked, indicating crab was not too fresh3. Butter crab ($43/800g) -crab coated with batter and fried then coated with buttery sauce. Unique and to my liking. Unfortunately crab was not fresh tooAnd don't ever order the lime juice, it is the worst I ever had! continue reading

Had dinner with a few of my classmates at Labrador Restaurant & Lounge! We ordered the satay chicken which was moist and juicy, nicely grilled to make very nice appetizers. Their mee goreng was goood too! Not very oily. We also got a black pepper crab to share! It was WOW SUPER GOOD! The black peppery sauce really made it a great dish, yet was not so overpowering that it buries the natural sweetness of the crab. Yumilicious! continue reading

The family was craving for nice seafood. So we headed to the labrador restaurant and lounge for a nice seafood meal. I ordered their curry fish head. It was really good. the portion was really huge, we could barely finish it. the fish was really fresh, no fishy smell at all. The meat was very sweet. the curry was the thick kind, it went really well with rice. it was not too spicy as well. The gravy is sweetish spicy really delicious! continue reading
