This stall is located opposite my house for about 20 years. Seriously I will never eat in this stall, because when I am young, while eating the noodle, I saw a greenish smelly thingy inside my bowl of noodle. To my horror, I showed my mother and she tells me that it is a tooth brush leftover. She confronted the hawkers yet she commented, “okay, I just change one of you lo.” this was inside my mind whenever I patrolling this food centre, I will never eat in this stall ever in my life. This is my brother’s lunch, I am writing this because I think being rude and unhygienic, cause my whole life to remember them and not to eat from this stall. In my own opinion, I think as a hawker, cleanliness is the most important point to look after. This stall has forever lost a customer like me and I suppose there are more to go. continue reading

Got myself a packet of lor mee for lunch today. Their lor mee was quite a different one, not really that traditional or authentic type of lor mee. The lor mee sauce was not that strong flavour, there wasnt any taste of garlic at all actually. But the sauce texture was quite good. It was quite smooth and not lumpy at all. There wasnt any minced garlic and ngor hiang which usually can be seen in other typical lor mee. But their thinly sliced pork and braised egg were fresh and nice. continue reading

had an awesome dinner at Seng Seng Fishball Mushroom Minced Pork Noodle. Ordered their minced pork noodle. The minced pork is very nicely marinated and finely chopped to very even tiny pieces. The noodle is also very soft and chewy! Yum yum! Totally love the sauce. Goes so well with the noodles and minced pork meat. continue reading
