Signature Dishes
FoodTill 8 February, a glass of lemonade is given free if you purchase one main course from them.It was about 8pm that day that we had finally decided what to eat. We strolled into Fine Cuts! and had ordered my share of USA Pork Fillet with salad - $14.80. It was pretty all right, not that wonderful but it did not disappoint either. The meat was well-grilled, coated with black pepper sauce was tasty. The so called "salad" was a bush of fresh vegetables tucked at one side of the plate with vinaigrette lightly drizzled on them. It was not too bad as well, but i feel like eating grass. While waiting for our dish to be served, we ordered 2 baskets of fries which costs $1.50 each. I do not particularly like to eat fries but I think those fries were good and the portion is very generous. We are so lucky that after taking our order, they had close the ordering counter.I received Aust Lamb Shoulder with salad - $14.80 shortly. Personally I do not really like this dish as there were quite alot of lamb tendon in each bite. However plus points is that the meats are not too hard to chew on. Lamb smell is not that strong too. I think the dishes are quite boring as all the plates are coated with black pepper sauce and comes with the bush. Uninteresting in the sense that every plate comes in the same color. Presentation wise, it fails.ServiceThere was only 2 men manning the station. One is the counter guy taking order and the order is the cook. There were alot of order at one time and he was "looking after" so much meat at one go! And on top of that waiting time is not that long. Super! Meals are served to your table.AmbienceVentilation was bad. You have smell all over your body after dinning there. PricePrice is reasonable. Portion abit little for main course. If we were to do without the baskets of fries, the meal is definitely not filling enough. Recommendation / Tips(1) Be prepared to have smoky smell all over the clothing after dinning there.(2) Moderate appetite diners may need to order more

Fine Cuts is located at the basement of The Central at Clark Quay. Besides selling premium meat and seafood, it also has an open concept dinning area. I tried their dinner set for 2 at $33+ which came with a soup and drink. I thought I was a catch for premium meat at such price. I was disappointed when I realized the selection was limited and the set meal excluded kobe, wagyu, black angus, kurobuta pork.I ended up ordering the Salmon and Lamb Chop. I wanted my Lamb Chop medium not it was overcooked. Nevertheless, both the Salmon and Lamb Chop were good but not great. If you want value for money and avoid the crowd, Fine Cuts set meal is worth considering. Go for the ala carte menu if you don't mind paying a bit more for the premium meat.

Ordered set lunch at $12.85 plus GST amount to $13.75nett.Came a glass of lemonade, soup and main course.Soup is mushroom with tiny bits of blended mushrooms and taste is so so.Had the pan seared tuna loin.Came in 2 pieces of tuna and since i had it medium cooked as they don't have it medium rare, that was a bad decision as i could see the inside centre raw but brown in colour instead of red therefore the tuna could be frozen and not fresh.Just like eating streak with pepper sauce, the sauce for my tuna was blackpepper but too little and i had to bring my whole plate to the corner to help myself with the chilli or ketchup as it's self service.
