Beaver’s Pub & Grill was actually located at Bugis area, specializing in American cuisines. The place was getting crowded as sun set, patrons came here normally ordered beer along with their meal courses. Simple mysterious décor, restaurant was relaxing comfortable. Service was rather prompt, we were given a Menu immediate after we settling down. There was a bowl of complimentary soup served with every main dishes ordered, small portion in diluted style through appropriate saltiness. Talking about chicken, it was well-marinated generally. Arrived in attractively piping hot, flesh was juicy tender. Crisp at skin while soften fluffy in texture, overall was a perfect match. Steamed carrots and long beans as dressing, funky fries were placed aside too. Straightforward dish without overly greasy, the serving was just nice and delicious absolutely. Be careful of the bone, although it was stretchable. Price reasonably at $27.90, I would say Beaver’s Pub was a good place to catch up with friends till late night. continue reading

This is a pub located along the stretch in Bugis where Ah Chew desserts is. I was looking to try out a new restaurant and decided to try this after looking at their menu as their food was affordable. I ordered the grilled black pepper fish. Although it's your typical frozen dory fillet, the gravy was good, and I loved the corn that came with it - crunchy and sweet. The mashed potato was good as well. continue reading

Beaver's Pub & Grill is a pub located in Liang Seah (opposite Bugis Junction), specialising in offering American cuisine and beer. This place gets crowded as the sun set. Noticed most diners chill out over here, ordering beer to go along with their main course and snacks. A free bowl of soup was served for every main course ordered. The soup was a very small bowl of mushroom soup. The soup was diluted, salty with no mushroom in it. Ordered some finger food to go along with our main course. The Buffalo Wings arrived piping hot. Well marinated and seasoned, it was juicy and tender on the inside. Fried chicken wings are always so addictive. If only it was less oily.Although the Deep Fried Button Mushroom was crispy, it was on the oily end. Still it was delightfully addictive. The Chunky Fries was not oily or salty. It was soft and fluffy on the inside. However, lack the crispiness on the outside. The Beavers Special Chicken Chop with Bacon & Cheese did not wow me. A forgettable dish. The only thing I remember is that it was on the oily end.Detailed review: http://foodiefc.blogspot.sg/2012/10/beavers-pub-grill-liang-seah.html continue reading

Met up with my friends for drinks and dinner and we decided to give Beaver's a try.The place was completely packed inside so we had to sit outside instead. The ambience from what I saw inside was really nice and the people there were really friendly. However, I didn't like being seated outside as there were too many smokers around. We ordered several dishes, of which I'll only review two.The Mozarella Cheese Sticks were really really good!Very chewy and the cheese is just heavenly. The dip provided went really well with the Cheese Sticks. We also ordered the Deep Fried Button Mushrooms. This was only average.Yes, it was fried really well and was extremely crispy. However, the mushrooms did taste a little rubbery though! The sauce provided also went well with this. The food and drinks, overall, were above average.Definitely a great place to go to chill.Do go earlier to get seats indoors if you prefer that. There's a pool table as well as televisions Will consider going back to this place again to try out their other dishes! ;) continue reading
