There are many different Bak Kut Teh stalls in Balestier... Some more popular than the other but... that doesnt mean that the other stalls suck... In fact another one of the better stalls is actually the closest Bak Kut Teh stall which is around 15 mins away.A set would cost around $7- $10 per set depending on what you order...For example... I usually will order the pork soup which is refillable... the rice and maybe the preserved vegetable but not too much of this because i seriously cant stand the taste for too much....Overall this place speaks a little English which is actually OK, else i will be forced to use mu extremely talented chinese speaking skills... ehem..So this is another good place to have a nice supper when you are hungry at night... continue reading

This is from my judgment but I feel the pork ribs used in this Bak Kut Teh stall are not the frozen ones as the meat is very tender and soft. The best part lies in the soup is not being oily. I actually prefer the white herbal kind of bkt to the black soup ones. Something special about this 333 Bak Kut Teh is not only the pork ribs used, I like the cooking herbs used to brew the soup. Give it a try and I am sure it’d be value for money. It’s $4.50 for the standard size. I had it with a bowl of rice and peanuts. Worth the try, I might consider making a return visit. Having a bowl of bak kut teh on a chill and dreary day cheers me up as it warms my tummy, making everything feel better. continue reading
