They had shifted to the following address :- Kim San Leng Eating House, 1382 Serangoon Road, Serangoon, 328254.I started visiting their shop 7 years ago, even after they shifted to this not so convenience place I will still wanted to come here at least 1 time a month. To me they serve the best noodle in town.Every time we will ordered 2 bowls of dry noodles, 1 bowl of soup noodle and a fish cake.I love to ask for extra dry sambal chili to go with the fish cake.Uncle the cook made the thin noodle very Q and the sauce going with the dry noodle are tasty and blended well with all the ingredients. Although is just S$3.50 their selection of meat, fishcake and others are fresh and never over cooked. Love to add extra sambal chili to the dry noodle is spicy but super yummy.Their soup is cooked with a whole chicken, very thick and delicious. They will serve the noodle to you but at time the queue are quite long.Although the crowd reduced after the shift but good that they didn't lowered their standard and I am sure that if those old customer know where they shifted will go back again. continue reading

This stall has recently moved from Thai Thong Crescent to Opal Crescent. The current location is a bit inconvenience if without private transport but it never been an issue for a crazy fan like me. The standard has always been consistent. Their selling point is the soup base. It must have been boiled for hours to derive such goodness. I would suggest to order the soup version then the dry one. My usual order is mee kia soup and it served with a lot of ingredients like braised mushroom, fishcake, lean meat and a lot of minced meat. MUST TRY. continue reading

What could be more comforting than a bowl of hot soup and perhaps with noodle to go along on a rainy day? It has been raining pretty often these days and the cold weather has been getting me craving for noodle with hot soup more often from here. This no-frill noodle stall has been well hidden away at a little corner near Potong Pasir MRT, parking can be quite an issue if you come by here during weekends. The shop is just a stone's throw from the famous prawn noodle. If you are a regular customer of that prawn noodle shop then you should know where this stall is. This has been my comfort food especially so on cold rainy days. My favorite has always been Mee Kia with extra chilli then topped with braised mushroom. The star has gotta been that bowl of hot soup with full of different ingredients like minced meat, lean meat, slices of fishcake, dried chinese seaweed etc. The soup has got a nice sweetness that obtained from all these ingredients. I am absolutely loving it. Recommended. continue reading
