This bun may look really plain and simple, but actually before you taste it, you already can smell the nice coffee fragrant from it. The outer crust is quite crispy and also not too oily. The inner portion is quite fluffy and full of the nice taste from the butter and coffee powder used in making it. At less than two dollars per piece, this is definitely quite affordable and delicious! continue reading

The sugar and the cheese compliment perfectly and give the bread an enriched taste. This would definitely make a good budget breakfast, delicious and filling, with six in a pack, yet cheap. It is advisable to finish up on the day itself to maintain the freshness and such that the sugar do not just dissolve/melt. continue reading

Amusing coffee bun. Was not expecting the bright green inside. It's all puffed up on the shelf but after you buy it, it starts deflating. The outside is coffee flavoured and has a sweet coffee crust on top of the bottom coffee bread. Sesame seeds make an interesting look. It smells wonderful - like sweet coffee candy. When you are half way through, you notice the bright green inside, which is supposed to be pandan flavouring. it's kind of hollow inside and not any real filling. But the pandan taste is fragrant and well balanced. Very unique and interesting bun! Highly recommended! Cost $1.40 continue reading

Q Bread is something like cheaper BreadTalk I guess? The quality is about the same or maybe just a bit losing BreadTalk.I love the cakes there, it sells the cheapest cakes which are quite delicious as well. For only $20, you can get a normal big size kind of party cake? I think if you buy it somewhere else, it's around >$25-$40+. The fruits cake, I love the mangoes, they are actually quite fresh. It's sweet and a tiny bit of sour as well. It's abit too creamy inside but the cake is good overall. continue reading
