Chocolate Ice Cream Milkshake Rum & Raisin Milkshake
Review (24)
I tried the milk shake today from the famous (much raved about) milk shake shop in Tanjong Pagar! I don't have photos of the place, but it is a bright and cheery place with purple and white as its theme walls. I won't waste too much time describing anything else, you have to experience most things YOURSELF!And... here's the Cookies and Cream milkshake from Once Upon a Milkshake!Don't be fooled by its puny looking size, its very filling! This is their mini sized cup (SGD$3.60). If you don't think this can satisfy you, try the regular one (SGD$5.70).It's very thick, and VERY sweet. Topped with crushed oreo sprinkles. You have too much of this yummy drink, and I promise you won't end up being the princess in a fairytale. My ratings: ♥♥♥♥♥ (5 out of 10) continue reading

For $9, you can order a large Durain Milk shake (Strong) and not regret it. I suggest sharing for 2 with this big one than order 2 small regular ones (cheaper lah).It is so flavorful that is packed with Durian goodness. The milk shake is so smooth you cannot taste any pulp, though it is quite thick and you literally need to "suck" really hard to consume the goodness. It's good to visit when it is not crowded. Worth coming back again. Bravo! continue reading

Last Friday, my friends and I went to this Once Upon a Milkshake at Maxwell Chambers, the place is a bit secluded, and the place itself is quite small, however there were quite a lot of people there, no queue though We ordered durian milk shake, they have 3 types: light, normal or strong. I ordered the light one, my friends ordered normal and strong. For my the light durian milkshake, is very thick, difficult to suck since it's super thick haha.. which is also very good, the taste is just nice, can taste the durian i think this is just nice.My friend who ordered the normal one said that light is better as the normal one, the durian taste is too strong..Those who ordered strong durian milkshake loves it and felt very full after drinking it.This milkshake place is recommended!! Super thick and excellent taste! continue reading

I first chanced upon this place years ago, and fell in love with their milkshakes and the cosy setting of the cafe. They serve pretty good milkshakes and I find their flavours really unique, unlike the mainstream vanilla / chocolate / strawberry flavours that are overly sweet. Here I have Rum & Raisin (my favourite!) in mini cup & Hazelnut in regular cupThe flavours are more savory than sweet, and really thick and creamy, achieved from blending their quality ice creams with low fat milk .I usually order just the mini cup at $2.90 because the milkshakes are rather filling. continue reading

Once Upon A MilkshakeMaxwell ChambersTanjong Pagar, Singaporehttp://merlionwayfarer.blogspot.com/2012/10/the-ultimate-cream-sensation-irish.htmlFeeling a bit jelak with her constant chocolate endeavours, Merlion Wayfarer explored a non-chocolate one this round. She went for the Red Velvet Cake with Ice Cream. Combined with Babelicious Baileys, the combination costs S$6.50. The cake was surprisingly delicious with the Baileys taste enhancing the cream cheese fragrance in the Red Velvet cake. continue reading
