Brought a bowl of the ramen with the lor mee gravy for lunch. This bowl of ramen has a nice and appealing presentation, topped with chopped yan sui. The gravy is very similiar to the lor mee gravy, has sufficient thickness and is well seasoned. As for the ramen, it is well cooked and a soft and QQ texture. Several pieces of deep fried fish and peanuts are also included in this bowl of ramen. The deep fried fish does not has a crispy texture, but is well seasoned and the fish used is quite fresh. Overall, just a normal ramen at a price of $3 per bowl. continue reading

It was not the usual handmade noodle like ban mian or you mian but they serve the handmade noodle with fuzhou fishballs and yan dumplings in their special sauce. It is not quite the dry nor the soup version but a version in between both. The texture of the handmade noodle has got an enjoyable chewiness. A handful of vegetable was added to make this a healthy choice with the dried shallots added to enhance its flavor. If you are near the Khatib MRT then you might want to give this a try! continue reading

I order a bowl of dry noodles with fuzhou dumping. The noodles was cooked perfectly and not too soft. The dumpling taste good with ample ingredients. continue reading

This is not the usual ban mien or u mien commonly available but the same type of handmade noodle that served dry with sauce together with 2 fuzhou fishballs, fuzhou dumplings with quite a generous bit of veggies for $3.00.I enjoyed eating it but my partner disliked it. The taste is definitely subjective in this instance. It is still worth trying if you are happen to be here and looking for something different. continue reading
