Introduction
American BBQ prime pork ribs, slow cooked to juicy, tender perfection the old fashioned way. This is Morganfield’s, in a nutshell! Our signature dish – Sticky Bones spare ribs – is smoked over hickory wood, then basted with a sweet, tangy hickory flavoured BBQ Sauce. It’s rooted in the rustic American BBQ tradition, as is our warm Southern hospitality. continue reading

4 of us visited this branch for the first time... ordered the new apple and chicken salad, sharing platter - spare ribs with seafood, apple lychee tea, watermelon iced tea and ginger ale. Food was just right for 4 of us... and the choice of sauce for the ribs was kansas style. the ribs were very tender and well marinated. the corn on cob was super juicy, and oddly addictive as we couldnt seem to stop halfway through the cob. Just had to finish it before moving on. the prawns were succulent and fresh, salads were all prepared with very fresh produce. Corn bread was fragrant and moist, just a tad too sweet. The only downside will be the battered fish fillet, which was a little tough and lacking of flavour. On the overall, we were happy with the food. Will be back to try the other flavours as well as their chicken dishes. On a side note, service staff were really good. Friendly and helpful, pleasant and responsive. Before we paid the bill, a waiter even provided us with warm wet napkins to wipe our hands, and he did not merely pass us the napkins in wrap, he made sure to remove the wrapping and handed us the napkin ready to use. Happy with food and service. continue reading
