My grandmother is a vegetarian and this is one of her favourite vegetarian places in ang mo kio. Situated in a coffee shop, the price is fairly affordable and the presentation and the food I feel can be comparable to that of a restaurant. Sometimes the dishes maybe a tad too oily and salty hence it is advised to ask for less salt and less oil (for those who are more health conscious) when ordering. For the four of us, we ordered 3 dishes, one stir-fried vegetables, one stir-fried noodles and her favourite sambal fish. The stir-fried vegetables is pretty average but I love the sambal dish as the spiciness level is just right and when served piping hot, it gives the extra kick. The stir-fried noodles is served with a generous portion of vegetables and the noodles are chewy. In total, we spent around $30 which comes down to around $7+ per person.
