If you are not very hungry then it is better to skip it. This is a very ordinary bowl of bak chor mee. You do not get your usual mushroom but minced meat, meat balls and a fried wanton. The taste is just average. The noodle was slightly overcooked so softer than normal. Nothing special with the sauce so quite disappointing. continue reading

This was one of the average bowl of bak chor mee that i ever had. If you do not like vinegar then you better tell in advance as they added quite a lot of it to the noodle. I did not enjoy it at all. I can only taste the vinegar and not other sauce in this bowl of noodle. The noodle came with lean meat, minced meat, mushroom and fried pork balls. I do not think i will come back as this is not my kind of bak chor mee. continue reading

I have tried eating at one of their many outlets island wide and i did not like it then. I was quite reluctant when my partner urged me to give it a try again at this coffeeshop. Though it was lunch then but no queue at this stall. I was contemplating whether to have Lor Mee or Mee Pok Tak. After some thoughts, i decided to order their Signature Noodle for $3.50. It came with their signature meat ball, a fried dumpling, minced meat and few very small slices of lean meat. The portion of the mee pok was a bit too little but it cooked at the right texture. This was my second time trying out their noodle and still not impressed. Apparently, it tasted much better than my first experience. I might decided to try them out for the 3rd time if i left with no better option for lunch just like today. continue reading

This stall food looks very delicious form outside, hawker was quite empty during late morning, queue was short so i ordered dry fish ball noodle. The way they cook looks professional, service was quite fast, few minutes and the noodle is ready..Noodles was above average, quantity was decent, the fishballs were tender and bouncy, not hard at all. Soup was acceptable (no msg) but i can see some minced meat floating. noodles was not difficult to chew, not hard too and i request for sweet sauce instead of chili, not bad but looks abit oily. overall: thumbs up for fishball! continue reading
