This stall serves up mixed rice in the day and at night serves up bowl after bowl of piping hot kway chap. This kway chap stall is pretty good. The sauce itself is not too salty and there is a tinge of sweetness. The kway in the kway chap is smooth, although can get quite big piece to eat. The intestines were good. I particularly liked the small intestines because they were very chewy. For about $7, this feeds 2 persons comfortably. continue reading

I have always had this concept that it is yucky and unhealthy as they often overdose the dishes with cooking oil but of course this does not apply to all stalls. I had a takeaway box- rice with lemon chicken and a bbq soya sauce chicken wing. It was pathetic and rather stingy for the staff to give me only 2 pieces of chicken as one serving. The soya sauce chicken wing was tasty though. Texture of rice was normal. continue reading
