There was for sure a dessert stall at foodcourt so far I noticed, it allowed patrons to complete satisfaction after a proper meal. Standing in front the stall, I was looking for the extensive choices and picked the one I prefer the most. I have heard from somebody that Green Beans were able to cure heatiness and ease mental stress, either in cold or warm. Besides, it helped to expel toxin substance from the body as well, healthy dessert ever to consume. It was very suitable for the perpetual hot weather in Singapore, one of the common local desserts obviously. Fragrant of Pandan Leaves and Gula Melaka spelt out, the soup was thick and solid with generous beans inside. Without overly sweet, the taste was great and filling. Only $2.00 for a huge bowl of Green Bean soup, it was affordable. continue reading

Having a nice and cold dessert during a hot weather is so shiok and coooling. Ordered a bowl of the durian ice kachang for dessert after lunch. Presentation wise is appealing with different colours and topped with generous amount of the bright yellow colour durian paste. Firstly, the durian paste has a nice durian aroma, smooth texture and sweetness level is a little too sweet. Cubed jelly, sweet corn, red bean and the atap seed are also included in this bowl of ice kachang. Overall, when the ice kachang is mixed together, the sweetness level is still acceptable but I think that the coloured syrup is added a little too much. continue reading

Bout the black glutinuos soup as dessert after dinner at the Dessert & Fruit Stall at koufu. The black glutinous soup is one of the many dessert that I like the most. I prefer it to mix with the coconut, to make it more fragrant and creammy, and after stirring the black red color of black glutinous coup will become grey color. The taste is not bad, sweet and tasty, and I think it was a perfect dessert if you aren't too full after dinner, because the glutinous is very filling. continue reading

I was feeling heaty one day so I decided to pop by the kou fu food court to have a bowl of green bean soup. Well even though it is such a simple dessert but it still taste wonderful. The soup was not too sweet for my liking and the beans were soft and chewy. Among the soup there were also sagos which is my favourite. And most importantly I felt so much better after drinking the soup. continue reading

The dessert stall is that of a typical dessert stall found in the foodcourt. I have always liked tau suan, but is difficult to find one which is really fantastic. The tau suan from this stall is quite normal. It is sweet and sticky, but I find it not having enough beans. It feels like eating more of the sticky soup rather than the beans. Probably it is because I ordered takeaway and thus the you tiao was no longer crispy. continue reading
