Love their honey mustard chicken! Located near where I stay makes it conveniently available for satisfying my food cravings after a tired day.A Chicken Chop that cost just $7.90 comes with either fries/ rice and 2 other side dish to choose from. For a small eater, this meal would be able to feed 2! If you are a big eater, and this is not enough for you? You can also choose to top up $2.50 for a mushroom soup that is thick and savoury and you can totally taste and eat the mushroom bits in the soup unlike many that choose to blend the soup into puree mode, Lava Rock choose to allow you to taste and savour on the mushroom bits in the soup also proving that their soup are not made from Campbell after all.Only down side: Their mushroom soup used to come with free garlic bread but now they decided to charge the garlic bread for $2 if you actually want any in the 1st place.Only thing to compensate: A friendly server who would always smile and be very polite serving and advising you on their menu.

I had a quick lunch with my boyfriend at Lava Rock Grill House awhile back after I get my haircut in Hougang. We decided to try it out as it had been feature on TV before.Lava Rock Grill House have a wide range of western food, ranging from meats,seafood to pasta. My boyfriend and I decided to try their Super Saver's Meal for 2.For the Black Pepper Chicken Set, we chose butter corn and butter potato. I do not really like both of them. The butter corn was too buttery. Each of the corn kernels was all coated with butter. The corn wad not sweet too. As for the butter potato, it is tasteless to me.It seem that they did not season the potato. I like the fries. They are crispy and perfectly cooked.For the Sesame Teriyaki Chicken Set, we chosen pasta salad and baked beans for the side dishes.The pasta salad did not look appetizing to me therefore I did not try it. The baked bean was normal too. As for the Sesame Teriyaki sauce, I don't really taste the sesame in the teriyaki sauce. I still prefer the black pepper sauce.

Whenever we think of western food, we think of Lava Rock!Lava Rock has several branches and is famous for its cheap yet tasty Western Food!! The prices are very affordable and reasonable and the service is always prompt and good! My favourite is the cream cheese spaghetti with shrooms, priced at only $4.90. However, if you are not a cheese lover then the aglio olio is very tasty as well, at only $3.90! Plus the portions are big and sufficient so no worries! You will eat to your heart's content! TIP: ALWAYS ASK FOR CHEESE AND CHILI FLAKES and the crew will pass you a bottle of each! adds on to the flavour of each meal. This is a must try, don't miss!

今天年初二，因为不是很舒服没上班被逼跑到附近的24小时诊所拿mc，偶然被我发现了这间西餐（年30和年初一吃kfc和mcd排长龙排到怕了）在排队时看着menu选了好久也拿不定，最后决定让服务人员介绍店的招牌是菜牛扒和三文鱼（因为肚子饿了好久怕三文鱼吃不饱选了牛扒）因为是过年决定不亏待自己所以点了份铁板黑牛扒来说说食物吧，我的套餐有一份牛扒，意大利面，2个小菜，和另加了一份蘑菇汤牛扒--煎的刚刚好，颜色非常漂亮感觉就像ps过！但是是真实的 XD 咬下去肉汁流出来，只能拿香嫩多汁来形容！味道鲜而不腻，再配上他家的黑椒酱，简直绝配！ （第一次吃黑牛，不觉得味道会臊，也不会很硬）（他家的黑椒酱不像平常的只有浓浓的黑椒味，而是加了多种调味 料有种浓厚的感觉就是为锯扒而配的！）意大利面 -- 煮得有点软（可能我比较喜欢吃有点爽口的）但他的酱不错，味道很香。不会有半点违和感薯泥 -- 乍看下有点像popoye的薯泥的感觉，但味道截然不同。香滑可口（个人觉得比popoye和kfc的还好吃！）沙律 -- 要了份包菜沙律，味道很好！（只不过给少了点）蘑菇汤 -- 赞啊！！放了多种菇类煮出来的浓汤，不像外边的白白的，这个感觉像酱似的！每一口都吃得到蘑菇！再加上浓 郁的奶油味简直是太好吃了！！再说只不过2块一份！一定要试！总结，这一份套餐虽要了我20++，但食物的质量和品质可说是1等1的，喜欢吃西餐的朋友一定要试试！！他还有许多的菜式可以让大家烦恼的年初二的今天还在烦恼吃什么吗？别想了！今天就去Lava Rock 试试！！Lava Rock 等着你！

Hi Guys, I'm here to introducing the Lavarock Thai BBQ Steamboat which is located at Hougang ave 8. The neighborhood area. And definitely a thumb ups to people who loves tomyum and the way how thais having steamboat.Two ways of cooking - teppanyaki and steamboat.Melt the pork lard on the grill and you can start bbqing the food.Soup will be normal and tomyum (Additional of $3)! My favourite of cos will TOMYUM!And the chilli sauce is a must have!! Yummy Fish skin must have too ! TRY IT!! Just imagine that you dont need to travel so far but in singapore you have something alike and yummy.Would definitely go back again! ok just 3 bus stops away from my block HEHE^
