Lucas located at Klapson Boutique hotel is a very quiet but beautiful dining restaurant. The ambience is great for couple to celebrate special occasion, but I would not agree the same on the quality of food. I ordered the mushroom risotto which costs around $25. The serving was quite small and mainly filled with rice and little ingredients. continue reading

Went to Lucas for dinner. It is a very nice place. Great ambience! Ordered the Seared Scallops. Found the dish a little too salty for me. It was probably due to the salmon caviar and lobster cream. But it was still pretty nice! I liked the fact that it was well grilled on the outside yet tender and soft on the insde. Awesome stuff! continue reading

For less than 10 bucks ($6.90++ i think), it was a high-tea buffet with a minimal variety of cakes and pastries with unlimited coffee/tea. Lucas has great ambience, soothing music and a relaxing overall feel. A smart choice for friends to meet and catch up or a high-tea date for couples. Coffee and tea were served hot and the cakes were of acceptable taste though I rememeber that the scones were dry. However this high-tea buffet promotion was a couple of months back, I'm not sure but hope that it's still ongoing or it'd take a return. continue reading

Always loved the name Lucas, because I had a cute student named Lucas when I was teaching, I like the Ryan in HSM & it's played by Lucas, & oh the adorable child of Nicholas Tse & Cecilia Cheung is also called Lucas! Now there's one more reason to love Lucas - The restaurant. It's a great place for birthday celebration, quite enough for chatting, having course meals make it less messy when we eat as a big group, conveniently located for everyone to come after work. The only thing is that... they were abit slow in serving the food~ continue reading
