I like how Mr Bean Singapore has always come up with new menu items and promotions. The most recent one is the Turkey Ham and Mashed Potato pancake ($1.80). Seeing as how its the festive season, Mr Bean has come up with an interesting flavour different from their usual ones.I had the pancake and at first bite, the filling shows up almost immediately. True to its name, there is a combination of turkey ham and mashed potato. But the latter is not like the KFC kind but more of real potato bites and with a slight peppery taste. It doesnt quite look as good as the one shown on the picture but the taste is still good, though a little heavy for a pancake. Unusual. continue reading

I bought Mr Bean for breakfast while waiting for my friend for work. I remembered when i was schooling in Singapore polytechnic, there is a Mr bean near there (which caters to my need- papaya soy milk warm), which make me thought that all Mr Bean will sell Mr Papaya soy milk warm! However, this store at Boon Lay Xchange, doesn't offer this. So in the end i ordered another normal soy milk instead with a pan cake. Well, it didn't really taste well at all! The warm soy milk the cashier gave me was hot. I spent like 50minutes drinking. continue reading

I am a huge fan of soya milk and Mr Bean is my favourites. I love the original soya milk which costs $1.20. I ordered the cold soya milk, just perfect for a warm day. I requested for less sweet and the sweetness of the soya milk tasted just right. The soya milk is smooth and I like the after taste of it. The Mr Bean at Boon Lay Xchange is crowded in the morning so be prepared to queue for a while. continue reading

It is quite common for me to buy Mr Bean’s pancakes since it is convenient with so many different outlets and with most of them at MRT stations and shopping malls. This outlet is at boonlay mrt station. Normally during the mornings, the queue will be longer since people will buy this for breakfast before going to work. However, today when I went at 10am, there is no queue so it is very fast. I bought the custard pancake which costs $1.50. The custard is quite smooth and not very sweet which is great for me since I don’t have a sweet tooth. The pancake is still warm when I ate it, which makes it a very comforting snack on a cold day. continue reading

Ordered this cup of cold Pearly Soyamilk to quench my thirst after a long and tiring day in school. The soyamilk taste really awesome; with the richness in the soya bean taste and the chewy pearls. For people who don't take sweet stuffs, you are also allowed to specify the sugar level that you are most comfortable with. However even though I forgot to request for less sugar when I ordered my drink, the sugar level added in my drink was appropriate and not so sweet.Labelled as the healthier choice food, Mr Bean's drinks are definitely worth trying and healthier than any other bubble tea sold outside continue reading
