Yesterday we had lunch at TCC Robinson Road, the place was quite cozy, it has many bean bags.. we didn't get to sit on the bean bags, we get to sit on the low cozy chairs since there were 9 of us.We ordered the salad and cheesy wedges as starters, the salad was good, I don't know the name of the salad as my friend ordered for me, i think it was some prawn salad, it was quite nice. The wedges was quite nice, but the cheese sauce was not concentrated enough for me, it was okay. For main, I ordered penne mama mia, cheese baked chicken penne, it was not very sticky, in fact only the top that's sticky with cheese, but the inside is a bit watery, it's not bad.. but I prefer the sticky baked pasta one hehe..Overall it's not bad, tcc cafes usually have nice deco and quite cozy and actually it's known for its desserts, too bad this time we didn't try the desserts, maybe next time. continue reading

This western restaurant not only has very cosy and spacious dining environment, most of their dishes served here are also very presentable and tasty too. One of my favourite is their shrooms bite which the pastry crust is very crunchy and baked till really nice golden brown colour. The mushroom fillings are very moist and creamy, which goes really well with the crust. Finger licking good and even one plate is always never enough for me. continue reading

This place is a little quiet after working hour as it located right at the CBD area. As the result, the staffs gathered at the back and chat, not very attentive or alert. However, the food is good as per usual. I had the seafood aglio olio. The garlic flavour and the slight hotness from the chilli padi gives an extra kick to the simple pasta dish, and the prawns are very fresh too. The dessert is sinfully yummy. Dark Devotion is pretty much a chocolate cake, with the melted chocolate filling. Very rich and delicious. continue reading

Food - We tried the Devil's Chocolate Cake and the Chocolate Confession. The Devil's Chocolate Cake is supposed to have raspberry bits in the cake but we didn't tatse or see any. There is a half raspberry on top of the cake for decoration, and a crispy overly sweet macaron. The Devil's Chocolate Cake is VERY delicious! Very rich and much like a chocolate cheesecake with a soft sponge cake base. It is a very rich cake. The Chocolate Confession was also super delicious. The ganache was smooth and just sweet enough. Very rich cake. There's supposed to be gold dust on the cake but we couldn't see it with the naked eye. In the photos, if you look close enough you might see the gold dust. The cake has a hazelnut base which complimented the cake very well. It's so addictive and very moreish! Couldn't stop till the end!The cakes keep well for a day at most in the fridge. It lasts pretty well in room temperature as well. Best served chilled or it gets too soft and melted.Setting and service - in the CBD, but it wasn't crowded and the service was efficient and polite. Clean, tidy place, just next to the MRT.Value - expensive if there's no promotion, but good value when there's a promotion! continue reading
