This is the season to be feasting and we had a X'mas gathering with catered food from Lee Wee! They have a wide variety of finger food and nibbles and also nasi lemak, beehoon and curry chicken suitable for order for party events or family gatherings. Check out their online ordering website at http://www.leeweebrothers.com/new/7-mini-buffetWe ordered a Mini Buffet set at $5.00 per head (min. order 20) which includes Fried 2-Joint Wing, Fish Otah, Beehoon, Fishball, Sambal Chilli, Achar, Ikan Bilis & Peanuts. Served in disposable trays with cutlery & serviettes. We also topped up extra for nibbles like sotong balls and spring rolls ($0.50 - $0.60 each) as well as a tub of curry chicken w/ potatoes $30.We were pretty satisfied with the food quality and their delivery services. The prices are very economical too. Will definitely order from them again. continue reading

Festive seasons I will always think of Lee Wee & Brothers so I ordered their satay ($0.55 per stick) for a potluck gathering with my friends. Wanted to collect it at their branches but they suggested to collect best at their main office. So I went over to collect it and is still a bit hot and smell real good. I like the chicken satay cos is nicely cook and the meat is tasty and not too hard and is goes well with generous satay sauce which is not too oily! continue reading

Today attending a talk on mental health awareness. There is food provided as in Nasi Lemak from Lee Wee Brothers'.It is packed in bright yellow colour boxes with preparation date and time on it, as well as expiry date and time. The best thing in this one dish meal is the chilli sauce, which is not too spicy and very tasty. I could have it with just the coconut rice. Next is the otah is you can see the chucks of fish meat. Overall it is a very filling and tasty meal. continue reading

I love otah and this is a pretty famous brand so decided to try it. I've tried it at other branches and it was alright. It seems it depends on the day - some days are better than others. I still prefer Otah Boy's muar otah to any other otah in Singapore. The otah here is a bit too thin and not chewy or meaty enough. I bought the banana skin otah which is a larger otah at $1.20. However, I've tried better otah than this. Other brand's otahs are usually thicker and meatier. The ones here are not worth it. Their standards seem to have dropped over the months. Not recommended. continue reading
