This is the first time visiting Sakura. The food is limited and have not much food to choose. The thai fried rice doesn't taste nice andthe soba is especially cold. The place is small and not much walkabout. I can said the sharkfin soup is taste delicious. the price is reasonable for 3 people. I like the grilled prawn but the taste is salty. I prefer buffet which have wide range of food. Only for the satay which need to order at the counter while as need to by our own. continue reading

Buffet, I will always opt for Sakura buffet. was glad that it is an certified halal buffet restaurant to cater for my malay friends to enjoy the food there. surprisingly at the price, the quality of the food is there. The sashimi is fresher than other pricey buffet out there and I always help myself to refill my plate of these tasty orange salmon sashimi. the cold prawns is fresh, crunchy and juicy too! other than seafood, they also offer wide variety of cooked food, teppanyaki food and desserts. service is fast and attentive and the servers clear our plates fast enough for us to continue to take more food to munch! continue reading

I don't really favor going to buffets. Primarily because I can't eat that much. It's not at all worth what I pay for.So I usually claim my money's worth by grabbing only the best of the best. Usually done by attacking the pricey seafood. I actually can't remember eating anything else but strictly chicken satay, lamb and crabs that night. The crabs were huge and fresh! If I'm not mistaken that was the special of the night. Huge crabs! It's a shame that we had to sit outside and make use a small table. In a buffet setting I seriously think that it's ridiculous to have a such a small table for two person. Other than that I really can't complain about anything else. The staffs were attentive and friendly! Good food! continue reading

My friend and I went to Sakura International Buffet for a meal and I decided to be a member of the Sakura group and I paid about $40 and got the membership instantly. The graphic on the card is quite cute and it can be used as an Ez link card. There is a large selection of sushis and I avoided taking any, as rice is rather filling. There are a huge variety of cooked food and most of them I do not really fancy anyway. For example, as above, I find those food rather common and they are cooked just to make people full quickily. I go buffeting with the purpose of getting full as well as reaching the value. A whole poached salmon lies on a pile of 'garden'. As I am a fan of salmon, I could not help using the tongs to dig some soft flesh out from its body. I tried every dessert that was available and everything tasted ordinary. continue reading
