It looks good but it didn't taste as good as I thought it would have been. The you tiao is fried till golden brown but maybe because it was left there for some time, it wasn't as crunchy as I expected it to be. Be sure to get some tissue, this you tiao is extremely oily!

Actually I was craving for chwee kuehs but walked past and saw the yu tiao just came out from the wok piping hot and just can't resist not having them. They were very well fried indeed and don't seemed to be oily. Took my first bite and the texture was really good and obviously the oil was already well drained. Nice food to have as a breakfast to start the day with a nice cup of black coffee. Yum!
