Haven’t reach my birth date, yet I received it. Perhaps I have to accept the fact that I am going to be one year older. Ordered in advance, my friends purposely brought it from far because of its legendary, famous Tiramisu. Providing numerous choices in Swee Heng bakery cake menu, each of them was affordable and creative especially their specialty 3D cakes. With the plastic of “Swee Heng” was still sticked on the cake, it was the advertisement strategy I guessed. I was so touched to have this surprised, I didn’t expect that they still remember I mentioned “Swee Heng” Tiramisu before. Decent remarkable cake, I had my slice, it was heart-melting. Luscious and sinfully divine, the liquor cocoa savour was robust while the sponge was light and fluffy. Plus, it was freshly baked from the oven. The best cake I ate so far, it explained moist brownie-like density. I like the cake very much. Thank you for the celebration guys, I appreciated deeply. continue reading

Brought a packet of the malay cake to try as I have been wanted to try it. Firstly, the malay cake has a soft and fluffy texture, similar to the chiffon cake texture but is slightly dense and its not too dry. As for the taste wise, it has a very slight brown sugar and egg taste. Thickness wise is equally sliced. Overall, taste wise is just a normal cake and it cost $1.70 for a packet of 4 pieces. continue reading

Swee Heng Bakery offers a variety of buns and cakes (swiss rolls), all of which look very appetizing. I bought the almond bun ($1.50) as snack the other day, because it looks very nice, like a donuts. The bun itself is quite soft, taste healthy. It's mainly because of the wheat and multigrains used in baking the bun. Coated with lots of almond flakes outside, adding a slightly crunchy texture to the bun. continue reading

Many hard boiled eggs are mashed together with lots of mayonise and butter to form the yummy scrambled egg filling. The bread is firm and compact, yet the inner part is still have that fluffyness in it when you bite on it. It is toasted till golden brown and you can taste that lightly sugary flavour on it. With these yummy scrambled egg fillings and the generous large slice of chicken ham in it, this is so satisfying and great to eat it at any times of the day. Usually I take two buns at one time as it is really delicious and appetizing. continue reading

It was quite some time since I have eaten these pastries and hence got a packet from Swee Heng. These sell at $2.50 per packet which is $0.50 a piece. I am not quite sure what these are called but the filling is lotus seed paste. The brown pastry is soft and slightly chewy and it is sweet. The lotus paste is also sweet as well, making this quite a sweet snack to enjoy during tea breaks. continue reading
