This stall always long queue, i saw there many orders the dish, so i decide to try out the dry 刀削面, they have black pepper chicken/seafood/beef. i ordered is black pepper chicken. I cannot take too spicy dish, for this dish is too much pepper, so very spicy for me. For the chicken meat, is no taste at all. Although the noodle is soft & chewy & portion is quite alot able to share with 2pax. But overall is disappointed. It cost $6. I think is worth for the portion only. continue reading

This stall always has a long queue. I decided to try other dishes. I ordered a bowl of Noodles with Tomato Soup which seemed like a healthy dish. Overall, the soup base is just okay, not so salty, the ingredients come with some tomato slices, so minced pork, egg, vegetables & some ikan bilis for toppings. The noodle portion is too much for me. If you're not a big eater, you can share with a friend continue reading

I have always loved handmade noodles for its lovely texture compared to the mee pok or yellow noodles which I often dislike for its 'artificial' flavour. This noodles is a big disappointment since firstly, the soup base is too oily and salty for me. Secondly, as seen from the picture, I was merely given a few strands of vegetables and 2 mincemeat 'balls'- of which they were evident in the picture. The noodles was also average. Hence overall I was not satisfied with the meal at all. continue reading

My appetite has been affected by the crazily hot weather so a light lunch like a soupy ban mian can be a good choice. I ordered the handmade ban mian that served in the tasty hot soup with usual ingredients like minced meat and poached egg then topped with ikan belis to add flavour to the soup. I liked the texture of the ban mian. It was cooked just right and not too soft. I liked to have it with the chilli provided. continue reading

Though the stall name says, "Formosa Delights Handmade Noodles", it also serves dim sum and dumplings apart from noodles. I have heard that noodles are handmade, chewy and natural, yummy. I'd like to try them next time.I had some dim sum for lunch on a weekday. I had 3 pieces of har gow, in fact. They were pretty good, the prawns were bright orange in color and really fresh and juicy. The dough skin was soft and not too floury too. 3 pieces for $3.50. continue reading
