Went to Bedok Point and decided to have a tea break so we ordered a French Loaf set that comes with 2 soft boiled eggs and 4 pieces cut french loaf with butter and kaya spread. I change my drink to Ice lemon tea and Goh opt for their yuan yang. French loaf after toasting was very crispy and every bite ooze out the butter melt seems like a lava butter loaf! Lemon tea was a bit bland and yuan yang was not really powerful. continue reading

Having teabreak with colleague at killiney cafe and we order their set "A" which consist of 2eggs, 2slices of kaya butter bread and a cup of coffee. Their signature kaya butter bread was delicious as the bread toasted just nice (not over toast) and kaya doesn't put on too much compare to some of the kaya butter bread which tasted just too sweet. Egg was just typical half boil egg and Coffee taste great as well, i'm curious about the coffee bean they using for such addictive coffee. So i went over to ask the staff, they said their special recipe was columbian arabica coffee bean.Total spend was $4.00 continue reading

This cafe seem to be quite short handed. They only have 2 staff attending to the cafe, while the cashier have to do few jobs at the same time. He managed the cashier counter, toast bread station and serving bread to customer. I waited a while for my take away but I think the boss is really lucky to have him in his cafe as he is quite efficient despite the several task that he had to handle. The bread was much better when I compared it with other outlet. Nice job! continue reading

Went with my friend to bedok point as the weather is so hot and we manage to enjoy air con at bedok point. Found a seat at killney cafe and order kopi ice, super shiok as super cooling and the coffee is nice and not too sweet and the coffee smell is so strong totally let me feel alive again, a cup of coffee ice cost more than $1.50 and the staff there are polite and friendly. Not much people during weekdays afternoon. It's a nice place to chilli and relax ! =) continue reading
