Went to one of the Bedok Coffeeshops with a friend, we ordered a plate of Rojak to share. There was no clear definition for Rojak, can be treated as lunch nibbles, tea snacks or even beer munchies. The stall was famous around this area, in fact Boss was only selling Rojak and Popiah. With the ever-crispy Fried Fritters on top, freshness was not disappointing us. Light refreshing with the arrival of Pineapple cubes and Cucumber pieces hidden at the bottom, the plate was delightful finger food after meal. Drizzled of generous sweet-tangy darkening prawn sauce was wonderful, while minced peanuts provided additional crunchiness to the whole. Taste was just nice, sourness and spiciness was not overwhelming. Our order was $2.50, great satisfaction for delectable salivating Rojak. continue reading
