my girlfriend and I were driving pass bedok and decided to head to bedok north eating house to eat the delicious pin fu satay. Both of us are fans of their chicken satay. They marinated the meat so well till it smells extremely fragrant on it on. The meat is so tender and juicy. I love the little charred bits on the satay. The satay gravy is incredible, very nutty and thick. It is not too spicy. It absolutely goes well with the cucumbers and onions that were served together with the satay. It is very reasonably priced as well. most importantly, it is not too oily. continue reading

These satays here really wins over many hearts from the heartlanders staying around the East area. For sure is they only served really tender, juicy and crispy satays (irregardless whether is chicken or pork meats). The satay gravy is really thick, not too spicy oily too. Especially like to eat their pork satays, which every center parts of it will have their 'juicy fats' that has been barberque till sliced crispy and fragrant. Within five dollars you will be able to enjoy ten sticks of yummy satays with the satay gravy, there is really nothing you need to complain for. continue reading

Tried this stall after a friend highly recommended the satay to me. The satay is the nicest I have tried amongst all the satays in Singapore! The difference is its distinct rich and flavorful spice taste which wins the typical honey coated satays hands down. The yummy taste lingers on with each bite of the succulent meat and is so tasty that it can be eaten on its own. The owner boasts of its hainanese traditional recipe and fresh/generous ingredients used in its marinade. The accompanying satay sauce also leaves a deep impression. It is fragrant, thick and topped with a dollop of mashed pineapple true Hainanese style, which is hard to find nowadays. Will definitely come back for more to feed my satay cravings! continue reading
