This however, does mean that quality of food and ingredients tend to suffer slightly.Ambience at Umi Sushi is clean, with minimal decor and bright lighting. However, the majority of their outlets are very cramped, with a small floor space and barely any elbow room between tables. This is definitely not a place for dining if you're looking for ambience. Many people choose to order take away instead of dining in.Service is good at Umi Sushi, and food is prepared and served very quickly. Staff are polite and are able to accomodate minor requests. Food at Umi Sushi is largely Japanese inspired. Items are simple, of decent / average quality and taste, and light on the wallet. Popular items include their variety of Bento boxes and Sushi.

Umisushi has branches near the MRT stations, which makes it very convenient for those who crave for sushi. I particularly like the sushi from Umisushi cos it's affordable and fresh. I had the set K all salmon, seems everything on this platter were from salmon. The salmon were very fresh, texture very soft, when I took a bite the salmon it was not tough very nice. For the platter everything in it comes in a pair good for sharing. The platter cost $9.40.

cheap sushi for takeaway. many varieties to choose from. love the staples like the sushi rolls. this common sushi roll is great. hard to go wrong. it's a nice big generous size. not as soft or tasty as the restaurants, but it's actually better than the conveyor belt places! quite cheap as well and very convenient for takeaway. love the handrolls as well. they also have sashimi. the sashimi is not as fresh or tasty as restaurants but it's a generous portion and in thick pieces.

It's comparatively cheaper than other places but it's not as fresh or tasty. The presentation is alright. The food is still not exactly up to standard but it's improved. There is a lot of variety to choose from and they are pretty cheap. However, the taste is not up to my standard so I will not recommend this place. It is a convenient location and convenient for takeaways. Service is alright.

We ordered a party set sushi consisting of 12 different kinds of sushi. Despite being catered, their raw ones are still very fresh! It ain't as chilled thus the salmon didn't taste that fabulous but given the price and all, the standard was still above average! I would definitely recommend this to friends / colleagues !
