Awesome mocha cappucino ! Their mocha cappuccino taste really great. Have a cup of it especially during cold weather. As it will help you warm up your body I had also tried their tuna sandwich during my lunch break.Don't be little the size ! (: The staff even offers to warm up the sandwich for me. The price is above affortable but can be reasonable since it is located at Vivocity. I had spent around 12+ for just lunch iteself. Their service was great and pretty fast. i do not have to very long to get my food and drink served. I could say that it is good ambience for relaxation if you are too stress up with your studies or works ^^ ! continue reading

Having tried romulus the previous time and we liked it a lot, me and my friends decided to come back here for dinner again! This time round I ordered their seafood pasta but it was a disappointment as i feel that the pasta was watery and lacked of taste. But they gave quite a lot of fish though. The portion was also not very big. Ordered their yummy waffles again this time round with 2 chocolate ice cream. SO DELICIOUS.They actually had this round thing that makes a sound when your food is ready and you will have to go to the counter to get your food yourself. Utensils and plain water were also self service at a counter at the side too. continue reading

A cute wood lined cafe in Vivocity. We had the pepperoni pizza, lasagne dinner set, a strawberry smoothie and lastly a finale of waffles with double scoop ice cream on a rainy day. Fact that we had both pizza and lasagna was because we couldn't make up our minds and thus decided to share both mains. Now when dinner was served. We had to helped ourselves to the utencils by the counter which was fine, since the cashier had directed us before hand. The dinner was served with a pizza that was thin crusted and topped with a generous portion of cheese (check out the picture).Funny how the dough and the toppings did not really adhere and the toppings were almost slipping of my pizza slices. That said, it didn't stop me for enjoying nor devouring it. The lasagna which I shared with my boyfriend tasted like home baked goodness, in fact the meat sauce was so scrumptious, we zipped off to the supermarket in search of ingredients to bake one over the weekend. It came in a small ceramic bowl which I felt was a good portion due to the generous amount of cheese. Wouldn't want to feel like dinner was an overkill would we.Next, we made our way to our dessert which was a waffle with 2 scoops of ice -cream and drenched in maple syrup. Nice waffles, but the ice cream was ....a downer. It was powdery, not creamy, so much so that I remarked if this was made from low fat milk to my boyfriend. And that even the 1dollar types from ice cream sellers on a bike were nicer. So remember bring your own ice cream if you're gonna have the waffles.Service was ok, we were there around 4plus 5 and thus there weren't alot of people to begin with so service was relaxed but swift. continue reading

Visited Romulus for the first time today.I was quite apprehensive at first because it was quiet and empty. But I must admit that the place looked very well done up.. It looked warm and cozy, and seemed like a great place to rest and chill. So I ordered Waffles with a scoop of chocolate ice cream and a regular cup of Cafe Americano.Service was pretty quick and got my Coffee within 5 mins. My waffles came less than 10 minutes later. They were generous with the serving portions. Both the ice cream scoop and the waffles were huge!!Tastewise, the Americano was quite average for me - nothing new. The waffles were crisp on the outside and fluffy soft on the inside. Yummy stuff. I must add one thing though. The ice cream tasted weird. It had a very strong milk taste yet wasnt creamy nor rich. It seemed like they added a lot of water before freezing it to become ice cream, making it icey on the surface. The service was also something much to be improved on. The guy at the order counter was unfriendly and cold. He didn't smile and lacked energy in the way he spoke.Later, when this same guy served me my Americano, I requested for Equal sugar and even said "please". He looked annoyed, grabbed the normal sugar away and walked away as if I was making his job difficult. He returned and placed the Equal sugar on the table and did not even bother looking at me as I said thank you.Thank goodness the dining environment was pleasant enough or I'll probably blacklist this place in the future. continue reading
