Signature Dishes
Popeyes is one of my favorite fast food joints around. They serve good chicken and seafood at reasonable price. This time I just bought a box of calamari for snacking at home while watching movie.Calamari Rings - $3.90. The squid was not difficult too chew, the portion was quite generous as well. It remained crispy even after hours of storage. Although it was a bit tasteless, I still like it because of the crispiness. The amount of calamari given was also quite generous. For $3.90, I think it is a good deal.

I actually quite enjoy this chicken tender with rice for $4.95 with no drink. The rice tasted nice but a bit spicy. It tasted like fried rice with green / red pepper and also corn to give it the color and taste. The boneless chicken tender is a good choice to eat with the rice. The chicken is always crispy and tasty. The portion is quite filling. This is a good choice for lunch or dinner.

I was craving for popeyes,as i saw from their facebook that,they have those $3.90 daily deals,so i choose thursday to go,as thur deal was 2 pieces chicken with biscuit for $3.90 however when i went,i found that they never put the daily deal signboard up ,staff also won't auto mention about the daily deal,i would be better if they would put up the signboard so that customer will know,if not we had to pay more for it Their chicken seem to be more smaller ><,chicken standard also not as nice as the pastbut is still very cripsy,as i have a 1 for 1 mucher meal ,so i tried their calamari & pepper nuggetPrevious tried their pepper nugget but not nice,their calamari was nice,but too bad it was quite cold & not crispy,waiting time for lunch took about 20mins

I was so happy when I found out that Popeye's finally has a rice meal. So when my friend and I didn’t know what to have for lunch, I suggested this fastfood resto. Anyway, I tried their Cajun Rice Platter. For $7.90, you get a 1-piece chicken (normal or spicy), cajun rice, drink, and a side dish. When, I got my order, I was so disappointed with the chicken. I got the thigh part and it was so tiny… it wasn’t even enough for my rice. I ordered spicy but I think they gave me the normal one. I think I only had three bites of my chicken before it was gone. At least, I ordered a side of mashed potato so that was enough to fill my hungry tummy that lunch time. But the chicken and rice weren't enough and take note: I am a small eater.

The other day I was at Square 2 (Novena) for some shopping and by the time I was done it was already time for lunch and I was very hungry. Just then I came across Popeyes outlet and I went in. I checked the menu that was printed and quickly placed an order for a Fish Sandwich and 3 pcs of Tenders. I told the lady to pack up my order since I was already late. I was told to take a seat and in a short while my packets were brought to me. I took them and headed home.Once I was at home, I quickly took out my lunch and sat down to eat it while I watched some TV. The Sandwich was nice and tasty and the tender were nice and crispy and so juicy. I surely had an yummy meal that day
